As good as the first book in the series – though, some of the characters were a bit more grating, this time round. The way he earned the trust of both Stephen Thee the man he subcontracted the job to and the trust of Rhyme and company. It’s the second instalment in the Lincoln Rhyme series and it doesn’t disappoint. I loved Amelia in this book. And he always seemed to have full knowledge of everything the authorities were thinking and doing – so you need to suspend d I was not magnetized and drawn in, but I was curious enough to keep reading.
